WHat is emsella?

EmSella is an FDA-cleared medical device that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM®) technology to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles (the deep muscles that support bladder, bowel, and sexual function).

During treatment, you remain fully clothed and sit comfortably in a specialized chair. The device delivers electromagnetic energy that triggers thousands of supramaximal muscle contractions, far more than voluntary Kegel exercises can achieve.

Benefits of EmSella

How Emsella Works

  • HIFEM Technology: Electromagnetic pulses pass through clothing and tissue to stimulate deep pelvic floor muscles.
  • Muscle Contractions: Each 28-minute session produces the equivalent of over 11,000 Kegel contractions, helping rebuild muscle strength and neuromuscular control.
  • Comfortable & Non-Invasive: You will feel tingling and muscle contractions but no pain. Sessions are comfortable, take about half an hour, and require zero downtime.

Who Can benefit from Emsella?

EmSella is ideal for adults of all genders who are experiencing:

Urinary Incontinence:

  • Stress incontinence: Leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercise
  • Urge incontinence: Sudden, intense urges to urinate
  • Mixed incontinence: Combination of stress and urge symptoms
EmSella strengthens support around the bladder and urethra to help reduce or eliminate leakage.

Pelvic Floor Weakness:
  • Weak muscles may result from childbirth, aging, prostate surgery, menopause, or prolonged straining. EmSella can improve muscle strength and neuromuscular control.
  • Sexual Health & Pelvic Support
  • By strengthening the pelvic floor, some patients report enhanced sexual function and sensation.
